Capital Foods International is a Vietnamese-Chinese family business that produces Vietnamese, Chinese, and Southeast Asian pantry brands for grocery retailers, distributors, and foodservice operators across North America.
The Story
Three decades. One family. Many communities.
What began in 1992 as a Vietnamese-Chinese family's import business has grown into one of the most trusted houses of Asian grocery brands in North America. We started by sourcing the pantry staples our own family reached for — then built a manufacturing footprint to produce them under brands we now own outright.
Over thirty years in, our customer base has grown far beyond where we started. Filipino-American households became our largest audience — not by design, but because those communities trusted the quality and the shelf-prices we could deliver. Today our portfolio spans Vietnamese, Chinese, Southeast Asian, and Filipino cooking.
We're still family-run. Still making products we'd put on our own shelves. Still built around the retailers and distributors who know their communities best.
